I was told $1975 and two weeks delivery. It took 1.5 months to get my car ONlY AFTER I paid an extra $300. If I didn’t pay the extra $300 my vehicle would still be sitting in LA. Also, I never got calls back after leaving a message so I was constantly calling the company to get my vehicle. Worst experience and will never use this company again. also, they were supposed to deliver it to my house and wanted me to pick it up 30 minutes away from where I live. They kept yanking me around and giving me empty promises they couldn’t keep.
Marie emailed me saying it would be $500 for an open trailer. I told her I wanted an enclosed trailer. She did verbally tell me $990 for an enclosed trailer. I have gotten other quotes that were lower (I told her about one for $625). A day or two later, I got an emailed quote from her saying $500 for an enclosed. Fast forward a few days- I decided to buy the car and get it shipped but when I called her she says it was not an accurate quote and it would be $990. I’m unhappy that she quoted me $500 for an enclosed trailer in writing and would not honor it.
My husband and I moved from Charlotte, NC to Seattle, WA on 10/28/2014. On 10/03/2014 I submitted a deposit of $200.00 for Auto Star Transport to move my vehicle by 10/27/2014. My contact was Paul Kalbermatter. I spoke to Paul on October 17th, 20th, and 21st and he wasn’t able to assign a driver to pick up my car by 10/27/2014. He had a carrier 10/29/2014 which is the day after I leave for Seattle, WA. This was my first time using an auto shipping service.
By reviewing transportrviews.com, I called Fidelity Auto Shipping Corp and spoke to Jasmine on 10/21/2014. She assured me that she could have a driver pick up my car by 10/25/2014. She kept her word. Johanna (Dispatch Manager) emailed the carrier and driver information to me on 10/22/2014. The driver called me on 10/23/2014. My car was picked up on 10/25/2014 and delivered 10/31/2014 in Seattle, WA. Both Jasmine and Johanna was extremely helpful and the carrier they used was very helpful also. Excellent customer service. I called Paul from Auto Star Transport for a refund after I spoke with Jasmine on 10/21/2014 and requested a refund. Out of the blue he was able to find a driver for me. Since he was able to find a driver, he was not able to refund my money. I signed up with Fidelity on 10/21/2014; Jasmine & Johanna had a carrier for me by the next business day. I signed up with Auto Transport on 10/03/2014 and Paul had a driver for me after I requested a refund. Bad customer service fo r Auto Star Transport. Collecting people’s deposit without providing an actual service is stealing.
Mario talks a good game but has no intention of finding a carrier to transport your car. They want your deposit. You give them a date to pick up your vehicle and they say they can’t find one but they are still looking. You run out of time and are forced to cancel so you can find someone else. When you cancel in writing and it is within the 10 days of when they say they will pick it up they get to keep your deposit. This company is out to steal your deposit.

I had to transport my car and let them know before 4 days and made myself clear that I have a cutoff timelines. Lauren(Associate) has sweet talk to cheat people. She said, she will try to get a carrier by cutoff time but she didn’t. In the meantime, I signed agreement. As They couldnt find a service by timelines, I drove myself and let her know before I start driving.
Later they deducted my money and saying they won’t return. Spoke to her manager and he said he listened the recordings but I am sure he didn’t. When I asked for voice recordings, he said, he won’t provide.
