I was told my vehicle would be picked up on Tuesday or Wednesday. Every time I called, I always got the I will call you right back. I never received any phone calls back, I was the one that had to call them Finally after a week of going back and forth with them I decided to cancel my order and go with another company. I was told I would receive my $125 deposit back and I’m still waiting for it. Don’t know if I will get it back.
Crossroads Auto Transport and specifically Daniel is a fraud and a hoax. We read the alleged reviews (they appear to be fabricated possibly by this company). I had already experienced fraud from another transport company in Texas (Carmovers4less) I explained to Daniel that I had a vehicle that needed to be in San Diego by 8/18/2014. I started working with Daniel on 8/6/2014. I was required to pay $125.00 deposit via credit card (which I did as requested), Daniel assured me that he would have a driver pick the vehicle up on Monday 8/11/2014. I had no communication with Daniel, I called and got voice mail, I sent Emails without response and I sent text messages without response. After continuously calling I got a call from Daniel telling me to leave him alone that he was working on it and when he knew something he would let me know. Daily I called and daily I got the message that he was working on it. Then I got a call from a female in their office stating they had a contract with a driver and I was to be contacted in 2 hours with my pick up information (this was Wednesday). I contacted Daniel after several hours and asked him about this call and he denied that phone call ever took place. He assured me if I would be willing to pay a hundred more dollars that he would get a driver. I told him I wanted to just cancel my contract and he told me that he would get my car to the destination on Monday as promised. So once again I trusted that my vehicle was going to be transported. Once again calling without response (they screen the calls) I finally got him to answer and he told me he had a driver and he would be to my house to pick up on Thursday 8/14/14, one again no driver, no call so I got a call from Daniel stating the driver did not check his email so he had to go with another company, one that had two drivers and that would get the vehicle to its destination on Monday barring any extenuating circumstances. So once again I felt I had no option but to hang onto the hope that this was going to happen as explained, I asked for driver information via an email. Daniel told me he was sending me the information. I waited and waited, called and texted and emailed requesting the driver information. Finally late Thursday I got the driver information. I called them and spoke to the dispatcher and she reported to me that it would take a minimum of 5-7 days to deliver the vehicle. I asked if Daniel had explained the situation to her and she denied knowing anything of a Monday delivery. She said the soonest it could be delivered was Wednesday. Then She was going to contact Daniel to see about this issue. I heard nothing from anyone and so at this point I called the driver company and told them not to pick up the vehicle and to cancel my contract. When I told Daniel about the delivery dates and that I cancelled the pick up and the contract he told me I signed a contract stating NO REFUND, because he found a driver. I told him this was bogus and that I was due a refund. I have had no further contact from him. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE NOT REPUTABLE AND ARE A SCAM LIKE MOST OF THE OTHERS OUT THERE. IT IS AMAZING TO ME THAT DOT DOES NOT MONITOR THE ACTIVITIES OF THIS INDUSTRY.
I was going to use this company until Daniel said “I must be the dumbest person on earth, but I know that” I hope people change there minds and go else where!!
Same experience as others, but they did move my car. However they lied to get an extra $50 bucks out of me. What a bunch of SCAM ARTISTS. Avoid this firm.
