I contracted DIRECT CONNECT AUTO TRANSPORT to have my car shipped to my house. After I paid them they REFUSED to deliver it to my house. They made me take delivery on a street corner in another state from a BROKEN DOWN TRUCK that caused SEVERE DAMAGE to the front end of the car. They all refused to pay for it, fix it, or even provide their insurance info. Also, delivered it a week late. I went to their local advertised office and it was a UPS P.O. Box. I later found out that their offices around the country are all P.O. Boxes. They operate only out of a PHONE ROOM in Pompano Beach, Florida. They told me that they were not BROKERS and they operate out of 22 offices around the country and had a fleet of their own trucks. I checked the Federal website and they have only one truck. They also use local phone numbers around the country that are redirected to their FRAUD phone room in Florida. They advertise that they have an A+ rating with the BBB. They used to have an F RATING. At this time are not rated at all. After spending over 30 years in the automobile business I have shipped thousands of cars and trucks. I have never seen a company as BAD as DIRECT CONNECT AUTO TRANSPORT.
