My order number 888 with AJ at Imovers brokers located at 158 W. Clinton Street Dover, NJ 07801 phone number 800-242-3997 scammed me out of $2225 saying they would charge me once they had a driver for my car and then called with a company name that I looked up which isn’t even in business anymore and then charged my card and never moved my car or answered my phone calls I had to pay another carrier. Horrible business practices they should be shut down!
my order number is 575qv and I was ripped off my Imovers out of Dover NJ 158 W. Clinton Street Dover, NJ 07801 the name of my broker is Greg Peck and I also dealt with AJ…Greg told me I wouldn’t get charged until they found me a carrier and then they called me and gave me a fake carrier name and charged my card for $250 and my car was never picked up and they haven’t answered my calls. Horrible that there are companies out there like this. The company number 800-242-3997

Worst people I ever dealt with I dealt with a salesman named AJ who is also the owner and he has charged my credit card and stopped answering all of my phone calls for 2 weeks I have reported this to the AG. Never use this company
Horrible they lied and scammed me through the whole process and never refunded my money and now they are hiding from me screening my calls.
Absolute nightmare dealing with AJ who is an all time scammer I have never dealt with anything worse and it looks like a pattern here

A coworker recommended imovers to us. We contacted AJ who assured us that he could get us the best price since we are military. We explained our needs, departure and arrival dates he said no problem. He emailed us a transport company, no dates or price. We responded with a request to quote us a price and determine dates and he answered with a different company, a price, and dates that were not what we asked for, plus a statement that this was not a quote but a finalized appointment -which we never agreed to! That’s the last we heard from him. He never responded to our attempts to call and email to straighten out what company was moving the car or what dates. We were able to track down someone from the transport company ourselves who informed us AJ gave him an incorrect phone number for us. We worked out the price and dates with him directly. So no point in having AJ who charged our card 2 days after disappearing on us. Disputing the charge with my bank. Then the guy from the transport company starts not answering my calls and then making excuses when my car does not arrive on the day we agreed on. 2 days late at 1am it got here, thankfully everything was fine with the car. Of course the driver demanded full payment because he knows nothing about it being late and they only take cash so I had to pay. Overall, a nightmare in the middle of moving halfway across the country while trying to find housing. I should have looked on yelp, the reviews there are much more honest than the ones here. Based on those reviews it looks like I got off lucky. In summary, stay away!
Terrible customer service after the deposit was made. Prior to the deposit, Pete seemed like a nice guy and sounded honest. Once the deposit was made and a carrier was assigned he wouldn’t respond to emails or phone calls. I was left hanging on my own. The vehicle was over a day late being picked up and 3 days late on being delivered. I had to make all the phone calls and contacts to the actual Carrier company. No one contacted me with updates. Overall a nightmare experience. I STRONGLY recommend contacting an actual shipping company directly and eliminating the middleman “Brokers”. They could care less about you and are only concerned about their commissions and are very shady and dishonest. All true statements Pete, so don’t try posting a rebuttal with lies. I gave you every opportunity to respond to my emails and phone calls.
I am in the auto business and do a lot of transporting and dealing with imovers was by far the worst experience I have ever had! I made it very clear the day I needed it to be picked up before I sent them my card info. Up until they where paid I would get call after call and email after email but once they got paid no one would ever pick up or return a phone call or email. My car was never picked up and the day of pick up and day before pick up no one would answer to let me know what was going on. After they didn’t pick up my car I was given a run around about driver had a flat or accident a bunch of bs and when I requested my money back I was told to email a finance department and I would get it Friday they just didn’t say which Friday this was over a month ago and still no answer or refund! NEVER EVER USE THIS COMAPNY IT IS A COMPLETE FRAUD AND RIPOFF AND IF YOU DONT GET YOUR CAR YOU ARE OUT THE MONEY!!!
BEWARE!!! — a “BAIT & SWITCH” company — did not pick up my vehicle as agreed (and they guaranteed) for $900. Lied about being able to pick it up the next day — iMovers then wanted an additional $600 to transport my vehicle — so I cancelled their service and asked for a refund of my deposit (which they refused to do). iMovers should be shut down by the BBB for “stealing” deposits on transports they do not intend to make. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY — YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

I booked on May 15th to have my daughter’s car shipped to her college in Miami Florida. I left a deposit and they were great, calling me back great communication, great responding to E mails, I thought they were wonderful.
It was getting closer to the day my daughters car had to be picked up to bring to college. I called and spoke to AJ, I asked him “I know the car is being picked up on Tuesday…. WHAT TIME? It was 5 days before, so he said they will CALL ME me the day before to set up a pick up time. That sounded fair, so I wait and wait and wait for a phone call…. No Call, so I called and spoke to AJ and asked him No one called – what time would the Care be picked up?

7:00 pm & I NEVER HEARD FROM I MOVERS OR BRIAN OR AJ AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! NOT ONLY DID THEY STEAL MY DEPOSIT, I HAD NO ONE TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER’S CAR WITH ALL HER STUFF FOR COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
