Scam Business, Never Use Roadrunner Auto Transport
Roadrunner Auto Transportation Is Either A Scam Organization Operating Under The Guise Of An Auto Company Or They Are Just Plain Callous. They Promised To Pick Up My Car On Monday March 24th. I called On Friday March 21st To Confirm My Reservation, They Confirmed That Everything Looks Good And There Is A Driver That Will Come Pick Up The Car. I Am Still Waiting For Them Till Date. No Phone Calls, No Email Nothing!!!
They Must Be Paying People To Write Good Reviews For Them. Please Do Not Use Them Otherwise You Will Be Disappointed. I Spent Extra $300.00 To Ship My Car Because They Disappointed Me!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Once they obtain your credit card information, you can never get in touch with them again. They advised that they would NOT charge the card until the car was picke up, however they charged it immediately after receiving the credit card number. You can’t even call to cancel – they don’t answer calls or call back. They do not respond to emails. We finally disputed the credit card charge – and now we have to scramble and find another carrier. The one customer service person I spoke to “Victoria” was extremely rude. I can’t comment on their pick-up/delivery service as we never got that far, but they seem to have very bad reviews. When I originally researched them, it appeared they had stellar reviews, but I agree with the above reviewer they must pay someone to write them. They are TERRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM!
Beware — Horrible company!!! Bait and switch operation. They gave me a written quote to transport my car that I accepted. Then a couple weeks later, they increased the price by $230. I reminded Chris at Roadrunner that I accepted their written quote of $820. Chris told me that quote didn’t mean anything because it was computer generated. When I told him that I had follow up emails with Dan at his company that confirmed the $820 price. He said that didn’t mean anything either because Dan is no longer with the company. Then Chris had the audacity to tell me that I don’t know what a quote is and that most people understand that a quote is not necessarily the price you pay. Seriously??? Their quote stressed that the cost included taxes, etc. Clearly, it is Chris who doesn’t understand the difference between a quote and an estimate. Check out reviews on Yelp, transport reviews.com and the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had done that first to avoid much frustration.
