The only advice I can offer is be realistic with the amount of time you think it will take for someone to pickup your vehicle. This is something out of the brokers control as they can only find a transport based on availability and the amount of money you are willing to pay. After many years of driving my car across the country at the end of every Summer I decided to try the Auto Transporter(South Beach Transport). I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent service and reasonable prices.

Many people wanted a deposit without offering me a carrier assigned to the load 1st. My research told me to avoid paying before load assignment. This would help alleviate any delays or undisclesed costs. Jay was the only one willing get the load assigned before asking for money.
Jay was very knowledgable and patient with my questions. He did what he said, the pick up and delivery was done in 3 days! I was the last one loaded ad the 1st one off but still every other company told me a week to 2 weeks for the transaction!

After dealing with a number of pushy sale types at a handful of transport of companies – including one that tried bait and switch and others who gave me high prices, I called South Beach because of their 5 star rating and A rating at BBB.
They were professional and completely honest. Once we signed up with them, they took literally 20 minutes to find us a trucking company and a prospective pick up date that was just 2 days after the car was available!! this was amazing because other companies put you on a central board and its catch as catch can.
the driver showed up and delivered the car to its destination in just 48 hours. Everything was exactly as arranged.
Another great thing about South Beach and Mark – is that he was always accessible. No dealing with someone different each time you call. Mark was very reassuring when I called back to discuss the actual pick up and trucking company. He said that he was still there to make sure that everything went smoothly until delivery was made. Mark was very energetic over the phone and pitched a good sale. I was quoted $750 without hesitation. My costs went up because of extra’s I had in the truck but was promised a truck in the area. Initially, I was very nervous about transporting my new car. It was my first new car and I’ve never transported a car before. I searched a lot of sites and came across South Beach Transport on multiple sites and then looked them up on BBB.org. They had an A+ rating, so I went with them hoping it would all be OK. It did turn out to be OK! A driver was supposed to pick up my car within 2 days of agreeing to do business with South Beach, but after some kind of mechanical delay, South Beach took that driver off the job and assigned me with another company. They gave great updates as to what was going on with expected pickup and delivery and everything in between. I’m glad they pulled the first driver at the first sign of an issue and IMMEDIATELY worked on finding me Marlin Transport.
Everything went smooth AND my car was delivered early! I got great updates directly from the driver of the transport and he delivered it early on a Saturday afternoon. Mark was timely and detailed with his updates, and was careful and still quick. Since my car was on the upper deck, he made sure there weren’t any trees, had enough space to maneuver the truck and the cars, and explained this all to me up front and reiterated it as he did it. He even explained that he put my new car on top because the other used cars he was transporting had a chance of leaking oil, and, if they did drip, he didn’t want any to get on my car. Some may view this as a thankless job that can be routine, but for me and precious cargo on it that I’ve been working and saving for (my first new car), I see that guy as a miracle worker for NOT cutting corners, getting it here quickly and safely, and being professional and courteous in the process.

We are retired military that recently moved to HI with a job transfer. We have 3 cars, 2 of which are muscle cars. A 1969 and a 1967. The DOD would only pay for 1 vehicle and we had to pay for the remaining 2 vehicles. We put a request for a quote online and received over 20 emails. Of the numerous companies, several called and I ended up working with Mark from South Beach Transport because he was patient (esp. in dealing with a woman-other companies treated me different and tried to railroad me because I was a woman and assumed I knew nothing about cars) and was happy to explain the process, and was not pushy at all and made himself available 24/7. We choose to have him ship our 2009 Honda Odyssey which arrived in Hawaii 2 days after we arrived. It was a week ahead of schedule. The Government VPC shipped our 1969 Dodge Dart Convertible and it took 4 weeks versus the 2.5 weeks thru South Beach. Everything was a smooth transaction until the 1967 Barracuda. We decided at the last minute to ship this vehicle to Hawaii and I am so glad we went with Mark. Not only is he a true professional, but he truly is all about service. When the vehicle arrived in California, the shipping company refused to take the cuda because the emergency brake did not work. We were already in Hawaii and nothing we could do but fly to California or make 100’s of phone calls trying to have our vehicle towed to a garage. But we didn’t have to. Mark arranged to have our vehicle dropped off at his family members house to keep us from having to pay for storage until we figured out what to do. They then took our cuda to a local mechanic he knew to fix the emergency brake. Turned out, all it needed was tightening of the bolts and cost us nothing. Mark’s Uncle then drove the vehicle back to Matson’s for shipping. It cost us nothing extra and Mark @ South Beach Transport did not ask for any additional money and dealt with the transport company and Matson’s on our behalf. What I like most about South Beach is a) they supports our military (retired and active) b) they resolved our issue for us before we had time to figure out what to do and made sure that our vehicle got to Hawaii c) GREAT customer service and d) his prices are competitive. South Beach was only contracted to transport our vehicle to the shipping company in California. That was it! He was not required to do anything else and could have very easily said, “Matson’s won’t take your vehicle, not my problem, your vehicle is in the storage holding lot until you figure out what to do!” Not to mention the truck driver wasn’t obligated to do anything beyond that either. But, Mark not only resolved our problem, but he handled the trucking company as well and arranged to have him drop our cuda at a different location. I can’t tell you how amazing, how helpful, accommodating South Beach transport was to work with.Mark truly had our best interest at heart and is all about customer service. As long as he is in business, he will ship our vehicles where ever they need to go! Mark, thanks for a job well done, going above and beyond and for making our move a little bit easier. It’s nice to know that people like you still exist and own businesses!

I got Nikki’s name from a dealer who had worked with her before. I had a 2010 Acura MDX that i was going to trade in and my daughter, who lives in CA, wanted to buy it.
I called Nikki at South Beach Transport ( 888 378 2390) and asked her what i would need to do to get a quote. She gave me the price and explained everything from start to finish.
I told her that it was going to take about 2 weeks to finalize the trade in and purchase.
She placed me order and sent me my “paperwork” to review. While i was doing that, Nikki was able to call me back to let me know that she had made a few calls on my behalf and she had been able to locate a trucker that would be able to pickup the MDX at that time for me.
Talk about efficiency!
She never had to put me on the board which she told me about to look for someone.
Well, we had hit a snag with the paperwork and that trucker was able to put my daughter’s MDX on his other truck the following week. ( we had lost time because of some really lousy weather which delayed my daughter’s FedEx Package from CA.
The guys were on point. They picked up on time and delivered 2 days early. They were professional and courteous.

Joe was great! I have been using Auto Shipping quote websites for years as i am a car collector and i cant ever find a shipping company to always do right by me until now. i will never look elsewhere because Joe is VERY HONEST and knows what he is doing. I was booked with ( i will not say any names) who CLAIMED there was no available trucks in Arlington VA for 2 weeks i waited and couldn’t even contact them as they NEVER answer their phones…. I called Joe as i had gotten his quote at the same time and didn’t know better so i didn’t use Joe because he was 200.00 higher… I decided to try South Beach out after and called Joe and then WALA….within 15 mins of sending Joe my paperwork he calls me and says my driver is going to pick up the car in the next 3 hours!!!!! CAR WAS PICKED UP AND DELIVERED IN 4 DAYS TO TX…My advise… do not let yourself be low balled because your car will probably never get picked up… Joe told me that that other comp MUST BE BLIND OR LYING BECAUSE THERE WERE DOZENS OF TRUCKS THAT NEEDED CARS IN VA AND THE ONLY REASON MINES DIDN’T MOVE WAS BECAUSE OF THE PRICE….. LESSON HERE IS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND 200.00 WAS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!! I WILL CALL JOE DIRECTLY FROM NOW ON AS I AM A CAR COLLECTOR AND SHIP 5-6 TIMES A YEAR! I found SBT on the internet by chance, as I was reviewing other companies that transported autos. I own a high end vehicle (BMW) and was concerned about possible damage or even theft of items in the vehicle during transportation.
I found SBT to be a very positive experience. The Customer Service people showed concern (as if it was their car) and were very professional. The vehicle was picked up on-time and delivered on-time.
I used a covered transport and received the car in CA with not a scratch on it!

I have never had such excellent customer service in handling my car! I am a very picky person and did not have one issue with Mark and this company. They were there exactly on time and took great care of my car. No damage was done while my car was away. Not to mention the ridiculously great and affordable prices they have! My truck is very important to my show car business and Mark was able to understand my needs. I have shows in both the US and in Canada. On this particular occasion I needed my car to be transported from Florida back to the farthest point of Northern Montana (seeing US transports rarely travel over the boundary). First time i shipping a car and I was assigned South Beach Transport. The service was excellent from pick up to delivery. A call was received 24 hours prior to pick up confirming the pick up time and the pick up occurred right on time.
The car was treated very well as even tho it was a 2006 car, it had very few miles and was like a new car and arrived in exactly the same condition as when it left with a little bit of dirt. But that was to be expected in an open carrier across the country.
Vito the driver called me 24 hours prior to delivery with an expected schedule of delivery and again when he was near the delivery location.
I was very impressed how careful he was at taking the car off the truck. I would not hesitate to use South Beach again. Excellent service by Mark and the crew!

I had to move my Son’s Car from New Jersey to his new College in Austin TX. It was a difficult decision to pick the right transporter. Because I had heard so many stories of not getting the car delivered for weeks.
As soon, I put my request for transporting the car, I received at least 50 emails and calls. Most of them wanted up front deposit.

Not only were the folk at South Beach excellent, the carrier that picked up his truck, Marlin Transportation and the driver, Henry arrived early and got the vehicle across country in 6 days. I was booked with another company and could never get an answer from them.
In desperation, I reached out to South Beach Transport this past Tuesday. I called pretty late, after 10pm but I was so surprised, someone answered. It was Nikki
She listened to my tale of woe and said that she would try to see if she would be able to help me.
Wednesday morning, she called me. I was flying out Thursday morning.
She was very honest with me and told me just how many cars were trying to leave FL and everyone she reached out to was booked solid, some all the way into June.
I had to leave my car in FL. Luckily I have another one here in NY with me but she took the time to explain the price I should have gotten which would have gotten my car moved. I will be back down in a few months. The only thing I know is I will be calling no other person or company but Nikki at South Beach Transport.

I had been booked with another company. They charged my card and could not get my car picked up. I had to get out of FL because my husband had to go back to VA for surgery he could not get done down in FL.

I’m moved a few vehicles coast to coast now and I actually was dreading this. The general process is you submit your info and a ton of people email and call you and tell you how much better they are with quotes varying up to $700 from each other then you pick one pay money up front and they may r may not pickup your vehicle. I had horrible experiences in the past and was going to take a week off work fly to Cali and drive my car to Boston to avoid having to do it again..but I just couldn’t do it at this time and I needed the car within a month. I figured they’re all going to be a headache so ill go with the lowest quote since regardless I will ave to deal with a ton of BS and empty promises. Mark Evans from south beach transport emailed and after a couple of emails back and forth with questions I accepted his quote of $900..lowest by far with quotes up to $1700!!!!! Mark was outstanding he replied quickly along the process (took absolutely no money til pickup of my vehicle and replied 10 mins after I emailed him at 7pm on a Sunday night!,,). Sorry so long winded but i was so impressed with south beach I will only use them in the future…outstanding job guys

Mark at south beach transport shipped my Bentley GT so of course I was a little nervous,however as the hauler arrived there was a Ferrari on the truck so clearly they knew how to transport vehicles. My car was strapped around the wheels , not the undercarriage. The driver was friendly and my beauty arrived undamaged, and on time. Vehicle was clean after traveling 2100 miles. Having never shipped a vehicle before, I checked transportreviews.com and found the best and most current reviews for South Beach Transport. When I contacted them I reach an incredible guy named Mark Evans. He made everything so easy and affordable! The shipping company contacted me as Mark said they would and could not have been nicer. I was to drive the car about one hour from my home for pick up but when the driver called me he said he was going to be in my town so I did not have to go 60 miles but only 2! He would have picked my car up at my home but his big rig could not have made it in or out of our neighborhood so we met just down the road in a large parking lot. The car we shipped is a beautiful convertible so we were concern about placement in an open truck. The driver assured us of where the car would ride and how it would be protected all the way across the country. He also gave us a delivery date and time. The car arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. I really really appreciate the care and time that all involved took to make this a stress free experience. Mark Evans was always available to take my calls and answer my questions. I don’t know if I will ever need to ship a car again but you can be sure I will always recommend South Beach Transport and Mark Evans!

I cannot state how happy I am with South Beach Transport. I received my vehicle on 09/12/2014. My experience with the company began on August 6, 2015. I received nothing but excellent customer service and upfront information from day 1. When I had concerns or questions I contacted Nelson Smith and he always had an honest answer. Nelson walked me through the entire process before I committed to schedule the appointment. Nelson was able to secure a carrier to come to my home to collect my vehicle in a weeks time. From pick up to delivery, every thing went on scheduled. Due to the nature of the delivery from LA to AK, there was a second carrier involved and I could have not asked for a better company. When concerns arose I contacted Nelson Smith and he would make calls and get back to me in a timely manner. I never waited more than an hour for a returned call or email response. I wasted two weeks by waiting for an incompetent broker to get me a driver. I will admit I thought I had it handled – but eventually I did some googling and it seems like the company I booked with is a scam. I am dealing with my bank to get my deposit back, but luckily I had my car delivered by South Beach. It took less than two hours I kid you not to get a driver. The girl Miah was quick and straight to the point. I don’t have any other cars to ship-but if you or someone you know needs a transport, this company gets it done right.

I wanted to see prices to ship my car. I went online and requested a quote, next thing you know, I needed a secretary to field the calls and emails I was receiving. Everybody wanted to ship my car. The first company I called was the one with the lowest price, they were polite, and REALLY eager for my business. I did not have the addresses as of yet, so I told them I would have to call back later. The next morning I get a call from South Beach Transport, another polite young man by the name of Gary, asked if I had chosen a company to ship with, I said yes and gave him the name of the company. He looked up their reviews and told me that they are an F rated company with 17 complaints filed against them, and my car is not going to move for that price, and he pleaded with me to not give them any money upfront because the only thing they were interested in is the deposit. I said okay, and I asked him for his price, it was considerably higher. He said, “Tony we’re the best in this business, if you find a reputable company out there with a better price we’ll beat it.” So I go “awesome” and I pulled out my stack of quotes. We looked at four of the eleven quotes I had, none of them passed his tests. Now I’m thinking, okay Gary so you’re my only option right? While I’m THINKING he’s pulling something on me he says, “Just so you know I’m sending all of these ratings to your email so you can check for yourself.” I thanked him for the info, and we hung up. To speed this up, not only was he telling the truth but I looked up the rest of the companies, only one other company was somewhat as reputable as South Beach, and their price was the same. 2 dollars lower. So I have a bunch of possible legal con-artists blowing up my phone urging me to make up my mind, one reputable company that didn’t bother calling more than twice, and South Beach Transport who seems to mainly want me to be informed. I called Gary back the next day, and told him about the company that beat his price, he said is it ….? I’m not allowed to speak their name unless I’m writing a review for them, but it was their main competitor, and he knew I was referring to them. In fact, I think he was waiting for me to find them out so he could officially talk business with me!! Gary, compared to the other reps I’ve heard, is such a calm, genuine, and professional representative. The way his company conducts business is leaps and bounds ahead of the others. All they have to do is stand beside their ratings. He lowered his price another fifteen bucks and we closed the deal. Once he located my driver he gave me their info and we thanked each other. I got an amazing first deal ever from Gary, and a job well put together by South Beach Transport. Keep winning guys.

I was very skeptical for many reasons and I felt like I was operating in a whirlpool of sharks when I first signed on to get bids to ship my car. I had several guys quote me unrealistic prices (way too low) and Jim took the time to educate me as to the dangers of believing in those low bids.

The work Nicole Cooke and those involved in the transport of my 2011 Honda Accord is highly commendable. The people from South Beach Transport were able to get me a transport less than 20 hours after I signed a contract with them. The speed they were able to do this was impressive. Prior to contacting and using South Beach Transport I checked Transport Reviews and the Better Business Bureau’s reviews to see how others fared with them. While reviews can, at times, be misleading or overinflated, it wasn’t until I spoke to Nicole that I felt more at ease with her and the reviews on South Beach. Nicole walked me through the appropriate steps and, like I said, was able to obtain me an auto transporter quickly.
The other item I want to comment is the price South Beach Transport quoted me. South Beach was neither the highest nor lowest. The price quoted was, in my estimation, reasonable. Yes, I checked their competitors and was given excuses as to why I should pay a higher rate. While the reasons appeared to have some merit, I stuck to my guns and intuition and accepted South Beach’s quote and I am glad.
