You’d better read this review carefully, since I had to give up my $150 to leave this truth here.
I did not have enough experiences about shipping cars in the US. But, now I am very much educated about what car shipping is in the US because of this company.
You may be contacted by tons of autoshipping companies, when you leave your quote online. Those sharks are, I think, almost the same kinds of companies. They are all brokers, to send your order to “real” car transporters.
So, including this company, brokers only get a broker fee like $100-$200 dollars. Real transporters get the rest of money in “cash” or “money order”, “no” credit card. Yes, it is very fishy in the US car transporting business. Anyway,….
The typical broker is very very kind util you sign a shipping reservation document. When done (I mean when you pay their broker fee), you are typically ditched. I found that this company did not submit my pickup order even 48 hours left for the supposed pick up time.
The typical broker will say “it is quite usual that your order is not submitted though 2 days left for the pickup”. This is true, since the US transporting system indeed works in this way. It is quite usual though your car is not picked up on your reservation date.
And it is also their business trick that “you have to buy an expediated shipping to pick up your car on time”. They outsell the shipping in this way. One customers are being a shi t, both transporting and booking companies make more money. Yay to them.
The above is a general description how much the US car shipping system is terrible.
~~~~~~~~~~ Now, my specific case ~~~~~~~~~~~
I was in the same trap. My car was very unlikely to be picked up on time, though I already booked my flight. Surely I can’t wait a couple of more days.
So? I had to cancel the order with this company, since I was ditched. You may find that this company will not be much responding, when you finish paying their broker fee. I do not blame this ditching process, since other brokers are not much different. When they get their money, they do not have to respond to you that eagerly. They are not customer-oriented. They are not “apple” store. To be smart? You have to choose your pick up date with enough period of time before you actually fly out.
My ignorance about this ditching process led me to sign an expedited shipping with another company. Yup, they were successful to outsell my shipping, but very fortunately not with this Upcaleautotransport.
By now, my story was very much like an experience with a typical bad autoshipping broker.
The rest job with this company was a “refund”. As you may expect, this refund process would be hellish. I called Monday. As ditched after my sign, my refund trial was ditched. They said
the customer service for refund is only available on Friday. Call on Friday (yo, pathetic noob)” Yay, as expected, they do their refund on very very small period of time in a week. It is like shooting the last missile to shoot down the “death star” using my “force” like Luke Skywalker. I had to call them using my “force” to match their available refund hours.
Ok, it was time to use a “must-work” skill. “Who is your manager? I like to talk with your boss directly.” The result? They all the same. I had to call here and there and wait till they mercifully responded to my desperate calls.
Anyway, thankfully they had a mercy on me to decide to give my refund, “BUT I HAD TO SEND A WRITTEN SIGNED DOCUMENT that I will NEVER leave any bad review on any site”. If I refuse their merciful offer, my money won’t be refunded.”
You know now why I have to give up my $150 to leave this review.
I want to summarize why I am writing this review.
1. Please KNOW how US car transporting business works.
And, though you have to pay more, please find a responsible and customer-oriented company to handle your car, not these typical brokers.
2. I had to give up my money to leave this review. This is the real major reason why I have to leave this review. I can stand many typical brokers and US poor car transporting business. But I can not stand this kind of company to deny refunds for faked “good review”s.
I can’t even estimate how many people had to sign a document “never leave any bad review about this company” to get their money back.
It’s all up to you how much you keep this review in mind. But all the above is just what I have gone through with this company.

Fraud bait and lie raised quote 3 times after deposit unless given more money car would not be picked up after extra money was given they said car would not be delivered unless extra money was added. They were to refund my credit card but never did.

After seeing the reviews on yelp, I was skeptical on whether to use Upscale Auto Transport. Ray was very helpful and helped me feel comfortable with using them to transport my vehicle. I was kept in touch with and the driver helped me resolve problems. I got my car within two days of booking with them. I had a troublesome load to pick up, and it was picked up successfully, with no damage at arrival. Was quoted $350 to pick up, but had an unexpected problem with loading onto the trailer. Had to call a tow truck to help get it on the trailer, but was quickly resolved. So total was $400.
One of the worst brokers notoing that all brokers are thieves and crooks. Try to go direct to the shipper these brokers are absolute filth and foul vile scum.
I shipped my car cross country from NY to CA and used Upscale. They assigned a local agent to walk me through the process and found a carrier a few short days after. I had some pickup constraints but luckily the carrier came on the last day of my available window. My car arrived in stated time window and I had no issues with receiving the vehicle. Happy with the service and will recommend to others.

Incredible service these guys have gone above and beyond for me and my family. I find it really hard to believe some of the negative reviews and rating left on this company. They did in a few hours what another company couldn’t in 3 weeks. Thank you very much for helping me I was able to catch the flight with my family to our new home . Car was delivered in perfect condition and on time 3 days from Tx to fl. Thank you!!

Upscale Auto Transport was excellent in shipping my750li from Cali to Maryland. The rep Tania Door was honest and courteous! She quoted me $950 and the price never changed. She was always available to answer all my questions on get cell phone and not an office phone where you can never get a hold of a customer service representative.My car was picked up on time and delivered by the time I reached Maryland. I would definitely use Upscale on the future and so should you.Comment
This is about the fourth time I have used your service and I am never disappointed! The service staff is lovely, the drivers are great and very accommodating, and I am completely happy with the excellent level of service! I have to move my car annually from NY to AZ and back and each time I am impressed with how easy it is to speak with someone, how accommodating you have been since I am in a remote area of Arizona and the logistics of drop off and pick up are complicated. I don’t even look elsewhere anymore, I just call United Road and set it up!

Great group of people very helpful and knowledgeable . They were able to ship 2 of my cars cross country with no issues. Will definitely refer them to friends and family.
These guys are the real deal. I’ve heard of Upscale several times from friends that have used them in the past. This past week myself along with several friends decided to head down south to Miami to be part Cars & Coffee Drive. We ended up shipping several exotics and super cars to do the drive from Miami FL to west palm beach FL. Needless to say the whole transition went perfect. They have an incredible staff and drivers. I will be sure to use them again whenever my toys need to be shipped as well as recommending them whenever possible.
Cindy Sanchez was extremely rude when there was a problem with billing. It was an honest mistake, but when I got off the phone with her I felt sick in the stomach for how she made me feel. That is not OK! She was so rude that I will never use this company again. It’s a shame, too. The person who set up my account, Nick, and the man who transported my car, Quinton, were both great! However, I can use Nick and Quinton again, without having to use Upscale!

I recently had 2 cars and a truck moved from Miami, Ms. Carly B. was the person to help me with this process. She is incredibly professional and very knowledgeable various subjects involving the transportation. Not a single question went unanswered, and she went above and beyond the extra mile to make sure all my requests were met and made sure I had no concerns. The service was done in a timely manner and her performance is exquisite. Definitely recommend this company and be sure to ask for Ms. Carly!

Howard was a great help from beginning to end, I called him several times and always responded quickly. The driver Brian was also very informative and kept in contact with me throughout the procession. Its pretty cool to see this company with nearly 5 stars on a scam site.
Had my car shipped from Ohio to South Carolina. It was a great price with the lowest you’ll be able to find. Delivered really fast and with no damage to my vehicle. One thing to note is that the delivery payment is cash only.

Registration was fast, there was no cater booking haggling for more money and the quoted price remauned unchanged. Someone is available at any hour to answer questions. Overall will use the service again.
