  1. WARNING! This company has thieves in their system. Being the miserable thieves they are, they plundered through all three of my vehicles, stealing everything that wasn’t bolted down. Cables, auto supplies, spare tires, etc. Of course the company is more than happy to hide behind their disclaimers, which is the only response they give when reporting theft.

The customer service is poor, and unprofessional, they do not respond to messages, may not answer at all, and if they do, they of course have no answers, but they have plenty of bad attitude.

My vehicles were delivered long past the estimated time of arrival, to a auto salvage facility. Appearing as though they had been dragged through mud.

After more than ten attempts to contact officials at the corporate office, someone finally called back to read the disclaimer to us in case we couldn’t read it ourselves. When they were asked about whether or not they cared that they maintain thieves in their system, she said there’s a disclaimer for that.

  2. I used DAS because they were recommended by the owner of my furniture moving company, New York Movers, who is really trustworthy. He said they were a bit expensive, but good. Because I had non-refundable fight anf hotel reservations, I eventually decided to go with DAS, although I could have saved $200-$400 with other companies.

The salesman said that I couldn’t leave anything in the rear (not even a banana peel) which was an inconvenience- I ended up throwing out some things that I would have liked to keep. When the driver came to pick up the car, he never even looked in inside.

He also made a big deal about the certified check, as the only accepted payment. When they informed me that the car would be arriving, I walked 2 miles to the nearest Citibank and paid $10 extra, and got a certified check.

When my car arrived, the driver didn’t ask for payment, but as I am honest, I gave him the check.
A week or two lster, my credit card bill arrived, and DAS had also charged my credit card. If they had only told me in the first place, it would have been a lot easier.

When I called customer service, they were not at all apologetic, they only said that they confirmed with the finally carrier that I had paid, but were going to find out what he did with my check, and let me know what they would do.
I have already called my credit card company to dispute the charges!!!

  3. December 2015 My car was damaged at the DAS terminal awaiting a carrier.
JANUARY 15 CLAIMS rep processed my $3392 and $90 claim payment request.
I was emailed that RENTAL CAR is covered but then told it is NOT. We agreed on $90 to cover the 8 days for repair.
Told it would take 30 days to get checks
MARCH 2, 2015 Several phones calls leaving voice message not returned
Called the Claims rep to get contact names/numbers
    Emailed and called Accounts Payable
Danielle Hoskins told me of an AP back log and checks not processed. I asked to speak to AP Manager Was told Nancy Hashman would tell me same thing.
Called AP Mgr Hashman and left message, NO RESPONSE
MARCH 3 called and left message NO RESPONSE
Went to Better Business Bureau to read COMPLAINTS about not receiving payments.BACK LOG excuse was used MARCH 2015 and it took 10 MONTHS to get checks!
BBB advised that DAS has several NO RESPONSES to their inquiries
    Emailed CORPORATE NO RESPONSE
March 10 Nancy Hashman, AP Mgr sent email telling me they have a BACK LOG NO DETAILS when to expect checks just excuses
Have a feeling claims are NOT paid People give up
DAS doesn’t wait MONTHS to get paid, their employees don’t wait MONTHS to get paid, WHY should I?
Either AP is incompetent, understaffed or it’s a SCAM and they have NO INTENTION of paying claims. There is evidence of too many complaints that support the scam reasoning. WHO can force AP to issue checks? Probably, no one. What can people do?
