  1. I selected Webster because of the price and a few good reviews and entered a car transport request and deposit on 7/29. After not even a hint of when my car would be picked up and many contact attempts I was able to get in touch with someone on 8/20. 21 days of my car sitting in the driveway I was told they could expedite their original quote of 1-10 days for more money. I have reported the company to the BBB and after much wasted time and money I have been promised a refund by the company. I urge future customers to bring your business to a more reputable and professional competitor. Would never recommend their service

  2. Contact this company on August 4th for transportation of my Maserati from Los Angeles or Oklahoma City. After numerous calls to their office and eventually a call back a rate was negotiated for $725. At that time I advised that exact delivery date was not an issue as long as it was delivered prior to the 1st of September. This pickup order was finally made on August 11th. At that time I was told to send a PayPal transfer in the amount of $400 and the balance would be due within 5 days of my car being picked up. On August 20th I again contacted their office and made arrangements, again through PayPal, to pay the additional $225.

On August 25th I contacted the office again to find out the status of my car getting picked up as it was now very nearly the end of the month. At first Jarrod Webster informed me that there was no record of any type of a pickup order on file for me. I was then transferred over to Wayne Webster (His brother, his dad??) and was very verbally spoken to on the phone. Wayne advised me that “the vehicle will be picked up when scheduling permitted” and that I did not need to call their office to follow-up like “a bunch of kids”. When I explained that I needed the car to be in Oklahoma City no later than the 1st I was told “that is not my problem” by Mr. Webster.

As of August 29th my vehicle had still not been picked up. I called their office at approximately 4:30pm and spoke again to Jarrod Webster. He told me that because they were in the middle of moving that he did not know where my file or my pickup order. He put me on hold for about 15 minutes and finally Wayne Webster answered the phone. He started with “I told you that you did not need to keep following up on us” and then told me that because of a fluctuation in the market that the rates had increased in the industry and he had no control in it. He said that if I wanted it delivered by the 1st that it would be an additional $1,500 to get it there on time!

In not so kind words, I told him that I no longer needed their services and that I expected a FULL refund just as quickly as I sent their money to them. I was assured that a refund would be issued within 2 days. I have still not received a refund after calling them, emailing them and faxing them numerous times since the 1st. Today is now the 16th and still, no refund.

If you are looking for reliable transportation for your vehicle then do NOT go with these guys. If you are looking for getting a vehicle transported that may, or may not, ever get delivered then by all means, go with these guys!

  3. This BROKER hounded me with automatic e mails. When I finally did make phone contact and agreed upon the price he wanted to increase the delivery time and wasnt sure he could honor the price. The decision to look elsewhere came when I called the office and his associate answered and wanted my information. After review he said we can’t move your car for that price and I can’t guarantee 2 weeks delivery from Ft Worth to Los Angeles. Very unprofessional for people dealing with thousands of dollars in vehicles. Another broker was contacted and the car was moved for $600.

  4. I hired Webster Relocation to transport my car from my father’s home in South Carolina to mine in San Francisco on 8/8/14.

I was promised pickup in 1-10 business days and put down a deposit of $125 on my credit card. It was made clear to everyone involved, via email and in phone conversations, that we had a relatively short window for pick up because my father was moving out of state.

I called during the 10-day period to get a status report and spoke to our rep Nick Pride. He was brusque and said that he would get back to me when they had a driver assigned. I also checked in with his boss, who told me that they could likely find a driver faster if I increased the bid we had agreed on by $150. I asked that they continue trying at the agreed upon rate.

At the end of the 10-business day period (on 8/21/14) I contacted the company via email to cancel my order and ask for a refund of my deposit. I received an email back from Nick Pride that read simply, “we have a truck driver assigned to pick up ur car ? did you not get the dispatch information email?”

No further information, no forwarding of the email that was supposedly send to inform us of the pick up date and time. Conveniently, neither my father, from whom the car was to be picked up, nor myself had received any communication about this fortuitous last-minute booking.

I sent a follow-up email, again asking for my deposit back and informing Nick that I had made other arrangements for the car. He he has not responded to the emails, and a call I placed to the company yesterday afternoon has not been returned.

This morning, my father – who has already moved from South Carolina – received a call from a truck driver and a dispatcher who were waiting for instructions on where and when to pick up the car. They were, understandably, dismayed to find out that my father was no longer in the state and that no one from Webster had bothered to relay this information to them. Further, without my consent, the truck driver had been told that the rate was $150 more than I had agreed on with Webster.

Do not use this company. Simply put, they are scam artists.

  5. When “Ross” told me that his company covers the car from pick up to drop off, I decided to go with the company. I thought it was strange that this was not stated in the contract, so he added it in under section #5,

“5. Additional Information, Instructions, and/or Conditions
The vehicle is covered under our our 0 deductible $50,000 insurance policy while it is in transit on the carrier”

Unfortunately, having this clearly stated in the contract has not protected me against what happened. One of my 2 cars that auto transport 123 transported was damaged during transport. As soon as I attempted to open the trunk after car was delivered to FL, I was unable to open it due to damage to car’s roof that was not present when car was picked up by in CA. Auto transport 123 states that the driver is responsible. However, contact states that the vendor, Auto Transport 123 will cover any damage during transport. Vendor has hung up on me over 5 times in past 4-5 weeks. E-mails have been unanswered.

In addition, prior to me seeing the car in FL, the company called me to ask how the pick up went. When I said well, they stated that my name was drawn for a prize if a complete a review on this site. That certainly explains the numerous positive reviews I saw regarding auto transport 123 on this website. Of note, I did contact my credit card company to dispute the deposit (which was increased by $200 as compared to quote) so that I can at lease apply the deposit toward car repairs. I have also contacted the BBB. If able, I will update this review with more information. It is a shame that companies like this continue to lure customers in dishonest ways. Names being drawn for prizes… really??

  6. Promise anything till get possession of cars then they ignore agreement and deliver on their schedule Wayne Webster probably owner’s son total teller of lies.

  7. Do not and please never trust this company .I have been cheated and robbed off my money and time and was told to wait 3-4 days maximum and I waited for 2 long weeks to have my car shipped.I am still stuck in middle of nowhere and these people will not respect your time and money.I still am looking for different company to ship my car .
I guess this is a small home operated dispatch with no trucks of their own and they just take their money out.
NEVER NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY AND LOOSE YOUR MONEY AND TIME

  8. Scam alert – here’s how it goes down. They quote a reasonable price. Say typically they will pick up in 3-5 days, guarantee 10 days. Then when it gets close to 10 days, they say due to circumstances beyond their control, that to get it done in 10 days will require an upcharge for expedited service. If you hire them right before a move and NEED it done in a timely manner, they will get you with this scam. If you decide to wait for the original price they leave you hanging for weeks until a bargain deal comes along. If you want your car moved in a reasonable amount of time, do not hire these folks. Look around at the reviews, lots of people have been burned.

  9. Just cancelled a transport request with this company after multiple attempts to get my vehicle moved. Company was unable to secure a truck and failed to meet the terms of the contract. Additionally, they (Wayne)refused to return multiple phone calls requesting status of move. Bottom line, I would not recommend this company for your automotive transport needs.
